On April 21, 2026, we were delighted to welcome 11 players from the B1 youth team, along with their supervisors Diana Kaufmann and Joel Presto and the 1st Chairman Heinz Thieschnieder, to our premises. The idea for a company tour arose as part of our sponsorship activities. In the spring, we equipped the entire team, including the coaching staff, with new training jackets. The opportunity then arose at short notice to welcome the team to our site. Our Managing Director Rolf Henrichsmeyer personally greeted the guests in our showroom. After a brief company presentation, a factory tour followed. During the tour, the young people gained exciting insights into the entire production process – from the particle board to the packaged furniture part. The team was particularly impressed by the highly automated production. After around two and a half hours, the visit ended with a feedback round, where many new impressions of everyday professional life were gathered. For many of the 16- to 17-year-old players, it was their first contact with the working world outside of school. As part of the event, we took the opportunity to draw attention to our apprenticeship offers. Perhaps one of today's successful B1 footballers will soon become an enthusiastic "Formaplaner."
